A Trip to Beijing

By Admin, July 14, 2010 9:01 PM

Every year I take my family somewhere that I think will stimulate them as well as entertain them . Of course my first thought is to find somewhere for our summer holiday that everybody will enjoy, but we have never been a beach holiday type of family, and I think it is far more valuable and enriching to find somewhere that can dazzle with history and culture, as well as the sun. Holiday in Burj Dubai

By Admin, July 9, 2010 5:13 PM

The world has new the tallest building right now. It is Burj Khalifa which is located in Dubai. This building consists of hotels, residences, offices and shopping area. Not only as the tallest, this building has also broken other two worlds records, that are tallest structure and tallest free-standing structure. As attraction for visitors, even if you are not willing to stay there, you can go to the observation deck with outdoor terrace which is also won the award as the highest observation deck. Well, this tourist attraction is definitely not for average people, since the ticket price quite expensive. For scheduled ticket, price for adults (above 13) is 100 AED and for children (4 up to 12 years old) is 75 AED. But if you have not booked the ticket, you would be charged 400 AED both adults and children. For children below 4 years old there is no entry charge. Continue reading 'Holiday in Burj Dubai'»

If you are planning to head out to Spain, and you are a golf fan, you should really consider making time for a round of gold while you are in this beautiful country. The money spend on maintenance far outstrips that of English clubs. Continue reading 'Going to Spain for the Week'»

The Arts in London

If you are interested in the arts, then London has to be the place to be. London has more free galleries than anywhere else in the UK, and on top of that many of these galleries probably rank among the best in the country.

First off there is the National Gallery. This place is famous the world over, and it seems to me to be a miracle that entry is gratis. The same goes for both the Tate Modern and the Tate British. Both galleries hold extraordinarily beautiful pieces of work, yet you can see then for not a penny. Continue reading 'The Arts in London'»

A Honeymoon in Tenerife

By Admin, June 11, 2010 12:22 AM

When we were planning our wedding, we had no idea how expensive it would become. If only things were like the olden days, where parents would foot the bill for the whole shin dig. Neither of our parents were rich, and we knew that save for a bit of a handout, we would have to pay for everything ourselves. We didn’t mind this at all, but when the price started to stack up, we knew that something would have to give. We had been planning on spending a couple of weeks in a five star resort in the Caribbean for our honeymoon, but the cost of that was nearly £3000! It seemed like the most logical thing to save money on, so I started to try to find a cheaper alternative. Continue reading 'A Honeymoon in Tenerife'»
