Most people consider Bulgaria to be some sort of second rate ski country, but this is not normally backed by having actually been out there! The truth is, Bulgaria is probably slightly inferior to some of the resorts in the Alps, but for the price you pay it is immeasurably better value. Despite it being less than well known for producing great skiing, you will find if you do head out for a skiing holiday that the snow record is actually very good. They have some resorts with skiing up to around 3000 metres, and you can expect long winding runs just like you might find in the Alps.

Of course most people head out there for the value, and if you search for Ski deals in Bulgaria you are sure to find some cheap holidays. You pay less but you don’t always get less with big resorts which have had a lot of money pumped into them.

You will also find that Ski accommodation in Bulgaria is normally very good, so not only do you get good and affordable skiing, you get somewhere nice to stay too!

If you are concerned about the snow levels out there, then you can always reassure yourself by looking at the ski snowfall information that you can very easily find on the web. It’s a great place to be and a great place to ski and it won’t hit you too hard in the wallet. What more can you ask for?
