Most people consider Bulgaria to be some sort of second rate ski country, but this is not normally backed by having actually been out there! The truth is, Bulgaria is probably slightly inferior to some of the resorts in the Alps, but for the price you pay it is immeasurably better value. Despite it being less than well known for producing great skiing, you will find if you do head out for a skiing holiday that the snow record is actually very good.
