Villa Vacations In Lanzarote
There are seven islands in the Spanish owned Canarian archipelago. But only one – Lanzarote – boasts magnificent and totally unspoiled volcanic scenery. Along with great beaches and an abundance of good quality villa rental accommodation.
Lanzarote is four hours flying time from mainland Europe and is located close to the West Coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. The island has become a very popular holiday destination over the last twenty years – thanks to the fact that like the rest of the Canaries it enjoys sunshine whatever the time of year. Making it both popular as a winter and summer sun destination.
Most visitors hail from the UK but there are also plenty of arrivals from countries such as Germany and Eire too. Whist many Spaniards also like to holiday here during the summer. When the island is a little cooler than the Spanish mainland.
A large percentage of visitors seek their own self catering accommodation thanks to the growth of the internet. Which has in turn stimulated demand for Lanzarote villas and apartments. Which are available across the island – with real density in resorts such as Playa Blanca and Puerto del Carmen.
This demand has been further boosted by the ready availability of cheap flights to Lanzarote – which can be purchased from as little as £100 return for travellers departing from the UK. With flights costing a little more from other major markets such as Germany and Scandinavia.
All flights arrive at the sole international airport of Arrecife – from where tourists transfer on to their resort or accommodation. First time visitors should note that there are no shuttle bus services though. So they have to either queue for a taxi or book a rental vehicle. There are plenty of Lanzarote car hire offices in the arrivals terminal as well as in all of the main resorts.
Whilst half of all visitors book self catering accommodation the other half prefer to stay in hotels in Lanzarote. There are over 200 to choose from and plenty of upmarket options too – with six 5 star establishments available.
The majority of the hotels on the island are located in the resort of Playa Blanca – at the southern tip of Lanzarote. Which is around a forty minute transfer from the airport. Playa Blanca is a great location for a holiday as there are some wonderful beaches here as all as plenty of good quality restaurants.
Themocracy
I got a virus in my computer, the virus randomly poops up websties when im online, or when i click on a link fro example a link from somthing i googled it send me to this ramdom pages. My internet explorer also keeps on saying that there was an error so it keeps shutting down. I already scaned my compuer several times and all it catches is a tracking cookie, It never picks up any virus. Also one of the sities that popped up was about norton popping up sites and had people’s comments of how annoying that was. It was a Norton site(wich pooped up too) I dont know if that is even relevant to this. Does anyone know what i can do about this, or how i could take the virus off? i dont wanna have to buy another antivirus? Please Help, my computer is even slower now and the sites are super annoying i cant even search anything either. Thanks guys I appreciate it santoramaa
